About us
In June of 2003, our son, Joseph, was born and diagnosed with Down syndrome. As parents to a child with special needs, we understand the difficulties faced, not only with medical issues, but in providing your child with the tools that he/she needs to live life to the fullest.

Many of our kids are in therapy, but we also know that we need to make our homes as educationally "rich" as possible. The search for products can be frustrating. There are a lot of great products out there, but many times we spend a lot of time finding them and then often end up shopping in several places.

We hope to take some of the weight of that search off your shoulders by offering a wide variety of products and resources in one location: The Special Needs Store.

Our Store
We strive to offer many different products related to daily living, speech and language, physical and occupational therapy, music, DVDs, toys, and general health.
